About the prospectus
The college is in the final stages of validating its programme specifications. Contact hours, module titles, the exact shape of the clinical year and the awarding arrangements are all being confirmed, and none of them should be printed in a prospectus until they are settled.
The 2026–27 SCMAT UK prospectus is therefore being finalised. When it is published it will be downloadable from this page as a PDF, free of charge, with no form to fill in. If you ask us for a copy now, we will send it to you the day it is released — and we will happily answer your questions in the meantime, because a conversation is usually more useful than a document anyway.
The PDF is not published yet
Download link: [PROSPECTUS PDF — PENDING PUBLICATION]
There is deliberately no link here until the file exists. A broken download is worse than an honest wait. Everything that is already confirmed is on this website: the programme pages, entry requirements, key dates and fees information are all kept up to date as things are confirmed.
What is still being confirmed
So that you know what to treat with caution: validated programme specifications and module titles, contact-hour figures, confirmed intake and term dates, fee amounts, and the awarding and accreditation arrangements. Items still pending are marked throughout this website with a highlighted placeholder, so that nothing invented is mistaken for a fact.

What is inside the prospectus
The college and how we teach
The college's history and purpose, the tradition it teaches in, and the principle that shapes every programme: clinical reasoning and safe practice from the first term, not bolted on at the end.
Programmes at a glance
All five taught pathways side by side — level, duration, study mode, intakes and the clinical commitment each one carries.
Programme detail
A section per programme: the curriculum stage by stage, learning outcomes, assessment methods, entry requirements and what graduates typically do next.
Clinical training
How supervised practice works in the teaching clinic, what students actually do in each year, and the safety and conduct standards that apply from the first practical session.
Admissions
Who the college admits and why, the five-step application process, entry requirements, recognition of prior learning, DBS checks and the admissions calendar.
Fees, deposits and funding
What tuition fees cover and what they do not, how deposits and instalments work, and how to obtain a written fee schedule for your programme. Fees are not printed as figures — they are confirmed on application and published on request.
Support and adjustments
Learning support, reasonable adjustments, examination arrangements, and how to disclose a disability or specific learning difference early enough for us to arrange things properly.
Professional practice
The UK regulatory position for acupuncture and herbal medicine stated accurately, professional body membership, insurance, and the practical business of setting up in practice.
Short courses and CPD
Day and evening courses for practising practitioners, including herb identification, needling technique and paediatric Tui Na, plus in-house delivery for organisations.
Visiting us
Open days, individual campus visits, online information sessions, and how to reach the admissions team — including what to bring if you want your qualifications checked on the day.
Section titles are indicative and may change before publication. The final contents page will be published here with the PDF.

Request
Ask for a copy
- Say which prospectus you want: taught programmes, short courses, or corporate.
- Tell us which programme or programmes you are considering, so we can send the right programme specification sheet too.
- Ask for a printed copy to be posted, if you would prefer one — let us know the address to use.
- Tell us if you need an alternative format: large print, plain text, or an accessible PDF for a screen reader.
How your request is handled
Requests go to the admissions team at admissions@scmat.org.uk. Printed copies are posted [POSTAL DELIVERY — TIMESCALE], and nothing is added to a mailing list unless you ask to be kept informed. See the college policies for how we handle your details.
