What to expect

On the day

So that you know what you are coming to, and how much of the day is yours.

This is a live online session. It runs to a fixed start time, includes an open question session, and is recorded for people who have registered. You will need a device with a camera and microphone if you want to ask a question aloud; questions can also be typed into the chat.

The session is led by [SESSION LEAD — TO BE CONFIRMED], with [NUMBER] supporting staff. Where the event involves practical work, groups are kept small so that everyone gets individual attention, and all clinical activity is supervised by a qualified practitioner.

We do not photograph or film attendees without asking, and we do not pass attendee details to anyone else. See the privacy notice.

What to bring

  • A notebook if you want one — notes are welcome, and slides or handouts are circulated afterwards where the speaker uses them.
  • Layers: rooms vary in temperature and some practical sessions take place standing.
  • Nothing else. There is no charge and nothing to pay on the door.
  • A reliable internet connection, and headphones if you are joining from a shared space.

Accessibility at this event

Because venues differ — and because some of our events take place at external venues we do not control — access is confirmed for each event individually. Tell us what you need when you enquire, and we will check it and confirm in writing before you travel.
